Born 1964 in Germany, today Miquel lives near Amsterdam in the Netherlands and works frequently in Barcelona. He studied photography at the Institut d Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, and started as a professional photographer in 1990. Miquel works on assignment for leading international clients in editorial, portrait, food, lifestyle, commercial and advertising photography for annual reports, magazines and publicity. Miquel speaks fluently Spanish, German, Catalan, English, French, and Dutch.

Seit 1992 wird Miquel durch laif Agentur fuer Fotos & Reportagen in Koeln vertreten. Miquel spricht fliessend Spanisch, Deutsch, Katalanisch, Englisch, Französisch und Holländisch.
