Syrco Bakker Restaurant Pure C

My food story about Syrco Bakker’s restaurant Pure C in Cadzand, The Netherlands, published in Der Feinschmecker. “Syrco Bakker (1984) trained under chefs such as Sergio Herman, Jean-Georges Klein, Jonnie Boer and Gordon Ramsay is now in charge of Pure C’s kitchen staff. Syrco Bakker exudes work ethic, zeal and inexhaustible creativity. Being awarded a Michelin star in 2011 has already made it clear: Syrco’s cooking is part of the gastronomic premier league.”

Barcelona’s Best Churros

Want to taste Barcelona’s best churros? Xurreria Manuel San Román at carrer Banys Nous 8 makes xurros from freshly elaborated dough. Besides they provide several granjas in the Gothic Quarter with them. Try Xurros amb Xocolata, the same tasty xurros with chocolate, at granja La Palleresa. Big thank you to Manuel, Luis and the rest of the San Román family for allowing me to shoot and taste. Their non-greasy xurros are the ideal photographer’s snack!
